The Windows 10 May 2021 Update Is Now Available in Release Preview

It won’t be long until Windows 10 Version 21H1 finally arrives on the main branch.

Microsoft is placing the last strawberry on top of the cake with Build 19043.928. The update doesn’t contain many exciting features, but it does squash some nasty bugs found in the update.

For instance, the update fixes several security flaws that a researcher thankfully found. It also fixes a problem people had when trying to use an early version of the KB5000842 update.

The bug fix is currently on the Release channel, so people subscribed to it can download and test this update today. It’s a good idea to keep your eyes on the Release channel, as any new updates on it are just a stones throw away from making its debut on the main branch of Windows 10.

If this final bug fix does the job, Microsoft can then prepare to release Version 21H1 to the world. This will bring a swathe of bug fixes and stability updates to Windows 10, so you should find your computer runs a bit better once the update drops.
